Invest in one of our films

To produce films requires money. This fact cannot be escaped.

Securing that money from private investment is only one of many ways to produce any given film. I want to find professional investors to work with me and my team to produce more films and grow WOTR. Film is a business and investing in film is notoriously high risk because the end consumers tastes (i.e. the public) are fickle. To maintain transparency and operate within UK regulated legal and accounting practices means our investment is only open to professional investors. This criteria was established so that you are fully aware of options to structure a deal and acknowledge the risks involved. If you wanted guaranteed growth or security for your money, well you would have stopped reading by the second sentence. Film is like no other industry and its powered by people at all levels – from creative geniuses to on set runners through to actors and miracle-making filming crews.

CONSIDER THE RISKS: The film industry is highly complex and competitive involving both creative and commercial considerations with significant risks. The industry consists of production, which involves the development, financing, and production of motion pictures; and marketing and distribution, which involves the promotion and exploitation of motion pictures in a variety of media. Each production is a separate business venture, with its own management and personnel, its own budgetary constraints, and its own method of producing or exploiting motion pictures.

Competition may affect the producer's ability to obtain the services of preferred performers and other creative personnel. The producer will be competing with the producers of other films in arranging for distribution. The Picture will be competing directly with other motion pictures and indirectly with other forms of public entertainment. The producer may be competing with numerous larger motion picture companies and studios that have substantially greater resources, larger and more experienced staff, and better track records of successful production and distribution of motion pictures.

Film production is a long process. As an investment strategy, it’s usually even longer – taking anywhere between three to ten years to generate any financial returns. It’s also difficult to predict the size of those returns.

There is also no guarantee that the project you invest funds into will be a success; the size of a project, the level of investment or the names attached to the production are not mitigating factors in and of themselves.
